Customer: Dental Hygienist
This website is a WordPress site for a Dental hygienist that wants to share her knowledge. There is some custom code to give it a different look and we designed the logo.
Resume: Website Design
This resume website is a static site with JavaScript I developed for myself. It is a one page summery website of my skills with a portfolio section.
School Project: Mastiffs
This was a fun, therapeutic and sad design project. I had just lost my dog to cancer so she was on my mind. All my web design projects up until this point where light in color so I wanted to change it up.
School Project: Masala
Color, color, color! Bright vibrant colors were on my mind when I started thinking about building a website about a food cart. I wanted the web design images to tell the story. This helps the user get excited and maybe hungry.
School Project: Responsive Web Design
This was one of my earlier web design projects working with responsive design. It is a simple, clean and open design. I didn’t want the site to be busy but did want the aggressive red to balance that simplicity.
Customer Website: Snow Drift Cabin Web Design
This was my favorite web design project. The owner of Snowdrift Cabin gave me free rein to revamp an existing website. He had very little content, and what he did have needed to be reworked. I had to Photoshop existing photos, find new photos, rewrite the copy and create a new design. This was the first time I incorporated a calendar into a website.
Just For Fun: Two Backgrounds Web Design
Wanting to challenge myself I thought about doing a double background. This was challenging but once conquered, I really liked the logo over a gradient. Another challenge was working with a gradient and still having the right text color for readability.
Just For Fun: Photoshop Power Point
This was a final Photoshop project I put together in a PowerPoint. Except for the image of my wife and I, I took all the images in my photography class.
